Adoration

Let me introduce you to Sonja. Sonja is in love with her fiancé John. She knows John trough pen palling. John is serving his sentence in the American prison, but John isn’t the only man Sonja loves. William is an American actor, who doesn’t know Sonja nor John exists. Sonja is William’s biggest fan, and she likes to send her free time crafting pictures and stories about him.

The word ‘adoration’ signifies the act of admiring or worshipping someone. This can take many forms. Two forms of adoration fascinate me in particular. ‘Being fan of something or someone’ and ‘getting into a relationship with an inmate’. These two forms of adoration are being embodied in my project by Sonja, John and William.
